Remote care and video calling with Genus

33% of the elderly in the Netherlands indicate that they sometimes feel lonely. Jill Mulder and Hans-Elias de Bree, founders of Genus Care, also experienced this problem with their parents. They found it difficult to maintain good contact with their parent(s) from a distance and to keep an eye on them from time to time. They wanted a product that makes contact and care possible at a distance. A product that gives peace and confidence when you are not there and makes you feel connected to each other from a distance. Genus Care was founded in 2018 out of this desire. A company that focuses on the development of the E-health product Genus.

With Genus, people can continue to live at home responsibly for longer. Genus monitors, alerts if necessary and makes monitor care possible. This is how Genus improves the quality of care. Genus also combats loneliness by bringing the elderly into contact with family and friends in an accessible way.
